Microblading 101
Our Master stylist and owner Maria is at the highest level of Micro-pigmentation and beauty with many years of experience under her belt. She’s constantly working non-stop to transform peoples lives!
What is Microblading?

Here we specialise in Microblading/Shading which is a form of semi permanent tattooing that lasts anything from 1-2 years. Maria uses a hand held tool to implant pigment into the skin to mimic hair strokes. She then shades from the tail backwards to give more depth to the brow to create an “ombre” effect.
What is the process?
Free consultation..
We ask that all clients thinking about Microblading or even having it done come in for a consultation (at least 48 hours before the procedure). This is free of charge and only 15 minutes long, it gives you the chance to have a one on one chat with Maria about your brows and what you are wanting to change. In turn, Maria can then assess your brows in detail and explain the process and what she will be able to offer you. As no two brows are the same!
If after your consultation you are wanting to proceed and book your appointment then we ask that you pay a £50 deposit to secure your booking.
What happens next?
Once appointment booked..
When you arrive to your appointment you will be asked to fill out a consent agreement for the procedure, once this has been completed Maria will come over and just recap and explain the process just so that you are fully aware of what will be happening to your brows (Feel free to ask any questions along the way).
Maria will then bring you over to her section where she will first begin with the brow mapping which usually takes around 20-30 minutes. She will then begin assessing your brows in detail and will draw an outline of where your brows should sit and what needs changing. Once completed the next step is to lay you down and explain to you in the mirror what is about to happen and change with your brows. This is also your opportunity for you to have a good understanding of the shape and fullness of your brows and if you are overall happy for her to continue.
Finally once you are both happy Maria will continue with the final step and create your new brows. This usually takes around 45-60 mins with the whole procedure taking approximately 1hr 45mins.
Then for the most exciting part… Time to reveal your brows!
Now time for the after care!
Take care of your brows..
You are now going to enter a 2 week healing process that will be explained to you in detail on the day along with an aftercare leaflet and cream to take home.
Last but not least
Let's get started..
We then book your re-touch 6 weeks after your initial appointment. This appointment is very important as not every hair stroke/shading will hold the first time as your brows will heal 50% lighter and soften once healed. At the re-touch we will then add, enhance and maybe go darker to completely finish your brow transformation.

WE ARE NOT ABLE TO DO MICROBLADING IF THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO YOU
- Under 18
- Hemophilia
- Pregnant or Nursing
- Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Have Hepatitis C
- 5 weeks pre or post Radiotherapy/Chemotherapy treatment (unless medical consent is given)
- Epileptic and have experienced a seizure in the last 2 years
- Taking Warfarin or other blood thinning medication (unless medical consent is given)
- Using Antabuse or Roaccutane within 6 months
- With visible evidence of a cold sore, fever blister or a skin disorder on the area to be treated
